Managing Performance and Sickness Absence
One day workshop tailored for organisation. Alternatively, separate
half day workshops on each topic can be delivered.
Workshop aim
To help managers: (a) understand how most occurrences of poor performance
& problem sickness absence can be prevented; and (b) develop the
knowledge and skills base to effectively deal with such problems when they do
occur.
Participants will learn:

performance
2. How to prevent most such problems occurring
3. How to informally manage performance/sickness problems
4. How to formally manage performance/sickness problems
5. The impact of the Disability Discrimination Act
6. How to best use Occupational Health and GP services
7. Rehabilitation, changes to duties, alternative work and other potential
options
8. Details, as required, of their organisation’s Disciplinary/Conduct
